Accommodation options

Whilst we do not book accommodation for you we are happy to help with advice on where to stay. Accommodation on this route can be limited so we recommend booking this tour as early as possible. The tour quote will include a list of accommodation recommendations and suggestions for overnight locations.

Tour notes:
During all four days we have lots of photo stops and time out of the vehicle enjoying the stunning scenery. We cover about 140 miles on the first and last day, but a little less on the two middle days (particularly day 2) to give a bit more time to enjoy the Highland landscapes. Generally, there is around 3-4 hours driving per day (quite a bit is on single track and winding Highland roads so it takes a little longer than normal). This tour cover the majority of the North Coast 500 but without Stoer peninsula detour (although we do visit Lochinver and Clachtoll). Should you prefer a shorter tour then please consider our 3 Day North West Highlands Tour.

** Off Season Touring
The Highlands are renowned for changeable weather, even over the summer months. However, from October to April, poor weather conditions are more common and daylight hours are reduced (particularly from late-October to early-March). For tours during these months, we may offer a modified itinerary (as some attractions close over the winter months) with slightly shorter touring days. The itinerary may be changed at short notice to adapt to weather conditions, and on very rare occasions tours may be cancelled due to severe weather. For a detailed itinerary please complete a Tour Enquiry Form including your travel dates.
