Half Day Dunrobin Castle Tour

Half Day Dunrobin Castle Tour

The Half Dunrobin Castle tour begins from Inverness and takes us along the beautiful North Highland coastline of Ross-shire and Sutherland, over the three firths (Scots word for estuary/bay) of Moray, Cromarty and Dornoch. Arriving at Dunrobin Castle - the spiritual home of Clan Sutherland - we have over two hours to explore the castle's history and its beautiful gardens. From April to September we can enjoy the great falconry display.

Leaving Dunrobin Castle, on our return to Inverness we generally have time for a brief visit to either the nearby royal burgh of Dornoch, home of a wonderful medieval cathedral with origins from the thirteenth century or for those wishing to sample one of the Highland's best exports – a short tasting at Glenmorangie Highland Whisky distillery.
