Loch Ness, Urquhart and Eilean Donan Castles Tour

Loch Ness, Urquhart and Eilean Donan Castles Tour2 Castles and a Loch!

Explore the best that the Scottish Highlands have to offer with a great tour from Inverness covering 3 of the most famous, historic and mysterious sites in Scotland - Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and Eilean Donan Castle.

Experience a full day of stunning scenery along with an insight into Scottish Highlands history.

The tour departs from Inverness where we head along Loch Ness on the way to Urquhart Castle near the village of Drumnadrochit. Here we have time to visit the Castle whose ruins look out over Loch Ness. You can then take time in Drumnadrochit or visit the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre before we depart for Eilean Donan Castle.

We follow along through Glen Moriston on the way to Glen Shiel and the five sisters of Kintail mountain range. The magnificent Loch Duich awaits us at the foot of the hills where we see the stunning Eilean Donan Castle in the distance. At Eilean Donan we have lots of time to explore the castle’s ancient  and historic past and enjoy its facilities.

Our return journey back to Inverness takes us through Glen Carron where we stop for a beautiful view of Loch Carron before we pass through the lonely glen surrounding Achnasheen.
