Tour Information
Day 1 Departing Edinburgh we travel north over the Firth of Forth towards the Highlands of Scotland where we stop at the historic village of Dunkeld to enjoy its beautiful setting. As we drive towards the Cairngorm National Park we visit Aviemore, the village at the heart of the Cairngorms for a late lunch. The afternoon takes us towards the mysterious Loch Ness which is overlooked by the ancient ruins of Urquhart Castle. After exploring Urquhart Castle we depart for our evening and overnight stop in Inverness, the “Capital of the Highlands”.
Day 2 Departing Inverness we follow Glen Moriston on the way to Glen Shiel and the
five sisters of Kintail mountain range. The magnificent Loch Duich awaits us where
we see the stunning Eilean Donan Castle in the distance. After time to enjoy a tour
of Eilean Donan Castle, we take the bridge over to the Isle of Skye for a couple
of hours to discover the southern peninsula of Sleat and the Clan Donald Centre in
Armadale. Here we take time to explore the Centre and the history of the MacDonalds
before taking a great 35 minute ferry sailing across the Sound of Sleat. Leaving
Mallaig we we follow the road to the Isles to Glenfinnan -
Day 3 Our final day beings with a short journey that takes us to the Glencoe Visitors
Centre to explore the glen’s dark past -
