Tour Information

Day 1  Departing Inverness we journey down the Great Glen with stops at Fort Augustus, Spean Bridge and Aonach Mor Nevis range before we arrive for lunch at Fort William - nestled below Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. We then take a short detour along the “Road to the Isles” to visit Glenfinnan - home of the “Harry Potter” Viaduct and the Jacobite monument. Our tour then takes on to the Corran Ferry for a short 10 minute crossing to Ardgour and on to Morven where we catch the last ferry of the day from Lochaline across to the Isle of Mull. Arriving in Mull we have a short drive towards Tobermory, the main town in Oban and our accommodation stop for the next 2 nights.

Day 2  This day is based around visiting the Island of Iona and spending time on the Island. Leaving Tobermory we have a 2 hour journey through Mull on the way to Fionnphort where we catch the ferry across to Iona. The ferry only takes 15 minutes (pedestrian ferry only) and generally start sailing from 10am onwards. We stay on the Isle of Iona for the majority of the day giving you time to explore the Abbey, the museum, the ancient churchyard and the Island itself. Depending on our return time we may have the opportunity to stop at Duart Castle, home of the Clan MacLean on our way back to Tobermory
